I have some issues with amavis and spamassassin(sa) on my vps server, it consumes a lot of my ram.

Here is a screen showing the amavisd and spamd that are the most memory hungry services running on my Debian Lenny.

    Any ideas?

Thats normal as spamassassin has to load its filter recipes into memory. To reduce the memory consumption, please stop and disable spamd as spamd is not used by amavisd, amavis loads the spamassassin libraries internally.
