Hi, Can anyone help me with log rotation problem. Logfile retention time in ISPC www option doesnt work. I have 31 days set but log stays over 4-5 months. More... somehow on some www logs are compressed and some of them not. I dont see any option (zip.gzip) in ISPC Panel. Third thing.. can I apache error log make rotated for n-days with compression? Thanks
Does ISPConfig panel have setting for logfile retention? Where is it? On my hosts running Debian GNU/Linux 10 it is logrotate that removes old logfiles, compresses the next latest log, names the old log files accordingly etc..
Hi. In a webpage details, option TAB, Logfiles retention time:. Yes - it works in my debian for syslog, but somehow doesnt workm properly in ISPC
Seems as if your system is not running the ispconfig cron.sh once a minute if logs don't get rotated properly. Check with: crontab -l command, run as root, if all required cronjobs are in place. And check you are using latest ISPConfig version.
Hi.. checked .. it was ok... but I found the problem... those unrotated ones was missed mount lilnes in fstab file.
