I've dont something silly and I installed APC (or was it Xcache).

I've go a centOS 6.2 setup using the perfect server setup and ISPConfig 2.X

For some reason I thought there was not PHP cashing so I installed either APC or Xcache (I cant remember which one it was) but both are now on the server.

The problem is I get an error with a program I use which has an issue with the two systems this is the error

Cannot load module 'XCache' because conflicting module 'apc' is already loaded in Unknown on line 0
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: apc.shm_size now uses M/G suffixes, please update your ini files in Unknown on line 0

now I need to turn one off, either xcache of APC (most probably APC as the program seems to wants to load xcache)

So What is the best way to turn off and on Xcache and APC

Also is there an advantage between one or the other?

    and
with the original installation of the perfect server, which caching service was in the original install?

    Thanks
