I was working through the How to install samba on Ubuntu and I have come up against a problem with the following commands

    apt-get update
    apt-get upgrade

    apt-get install ssh openssh-server

I get an error that says

W: Couldn't stat source paackage list http://seeurity.ubuntu.com breezy'security/http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu Packages (/var/lib/ap/lists/security.ubuntu.com_Ubuntu_dists_breezy-security_http:__security.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_binary-i386_Packages) - stat (2 No such file or directory)

    This among other error messages?

Am I not getting out to the internet or what is wrong?

Ok, when logged off as the root user and rebooted I was able to get these to work, at least I think so, I kept on going through the how to and came upon some errors when I rebooted one time. I think it was related to incorrect partioning from the get go. So I am going to start over and try all this again. This linux stuff is so new to me, I feel like I learning how to talk all over again. Thanks for all your help so far!

Oh I am wandering, can I set up Ubuntu server on a machine also running Windows XP?

Yes, but you must use a tool like Partition Magic to shrink your Windows partition So that you can install Ubuntu on the free space.
