Hi guys, I have a VPS with ISPConfig in version 3, but I want to migrate the content (like emails, database and files) to five other servers each with a different service, the structure of the servers are: web server email server ns1 server ns2 server database server What is the best way to backup (especially email and database are the biggest problem) to move to the new server structure?
There is Migration Tool: https://www.ispconfig.org/add-ons/ispconfig-migration-tool/ For backing up the old server, I would take disk image backup first, this should be easy for a virtual server. Then back up database dumps, website files and e-mail directories. How do you take backups now?
The server is backed up every 14 days, but I do not have access to the backup image and on some sites I have enabled file and database backup, but not email. Where are the backup folders (email, database or files), everything in /backup?
