bind9

I am having with bind9

When I finished installing Bind9, I looked at the log and the message
> QUOTE
> Jun 10 08:32:26 pancreas named[9505]: couldn't open pid file
'/var/run/bind/run/named.pid' : No such file or directory
> Jun 10 08:32:26 pancreas named[9505]: exiting (due to early fatal error)
> UNQUOTE

> I have checked and there is no file
>
> '/var/run/bind/run/named.pid'

> I have check my history and I have typed in everything correctly.

> Do I just create this file or copy another file and use this name :
named.pid

How did you install Bind? Which distribution do you use?

 

I installed bind9 and followed the howto that is on your site.
I am using denbian linux (sarge).
