That's these nasty function in cpanel where you get an email back that the cpanel user asks you to type in a captcha to get your email delivered. Personally, I've never do that.
Yes it is nasty, what do you suggest for a general email box thats on my website and i get alot of spam from it
If you set up a good spamfilter, it will reduce the incoming spam. You should also put a form on your website instead of a cleartext email adress - or hide your email adress behind a captcha check.
I used formmail 8 years ago for a website with contact form sending e-mail to maintainer. It is available from https://www.formmail.com/
If you're not using it, Google's invisble captcha (v3) by itself will almost entirely eliminate webform spam, and would be well worth switching to from other captcha's.
