Can anyone explain me this message

    I got it quite a time now, everything works fine but i like to know what tat means
    Suject: Cron source /etc/sysconfig/mdadm; [ -n "$MDADM_CHECK_DURATION" -a -x /usr/share/mdadm/mdcheck -a $(date +%d) -le 7 ] && /usr/share/mdadm/mdcheck --duration "$MDADM_CHECK_DURATION"
    Content: ls: cannot access /dev/md?*: No such file or directory

    do you use software raid?

    No, the servers are running on VMware, which itselve runs on HP Server with hardware RAID

    mdadm uses software raid... so I think you can ignore it if you don't use software raid.

    Yes I thought that and delete it by now, but that enoying, so who to suppress the message

    You could probably just uninstall the package that supplies /usr/share/mdadm/mdcheck mdadm rpm ?)
