i have installed samba, using http://www.howtoforge.com/samba-server-configuration-on-centos-6.5, with limited good results. I had no results till i turned the firewall off.
but still i can see the shares on windows but i can not add or edit a file within the shares.
The secure share also works with the same result. I can log in but can not edit a file for add a file within the shares.
i have reinstalled from scratch 6 times now. same result:rolleyes:
i am installing from the live cd.
the same windows computers see a share from a sme server & allows for adding & editing of files.
    I need help.
    thanks
