Hi there, I thought I had successfully installed debian 3.1 and ISPConfig this morning. From my home network I could access: www.XXXXXXXX.com.au www.XXXXXXXX.com.au:81 and I could also access via putty XXXXXXXXX.com.au:22 Initially, the above did not work until I turned on the firewall (ISPConfig)... however I am now at work and I can not access anything... I also checked by using www.the-cloak.com (in case it was our network). Any idea what the problem can be? I have not set up any sites yet, but I should still see something returned ( /var/www ), as I do from my own network. What IP addresses should I be putting in to ISPConfig also - my LAN /WAN? Kind Regards Adam
You must forward all needed ports (21,22,25,80,81,...) from your router to your ISPConfig system. Use your LAN IP for web sites. If you use the DNS Manager for creating DNS records, then you must use your public IP address for the DNS records, of course.
