Can't recreate a deleted web

Deleted web site xyz.com. Emptied Recycle Bin. But when I try to recreate it, I always get the error that it already exists.
"The name www.xyz.com is already in use by another site or domain."

but it's not! How do I clear this up?

 

Did you empty all the Recycle Bins?

 

Agreed.. make sure to check the DNS manager and empty that reseller's Recycle Bin.

 

very wierd, thought I emptied the Recycle Bin, this morning it was all there... works now!
