Hello. I installed ISPConfig following the Perfect Server guide and can access my ISPConfig from both https://<my-server-ip>:8080 and https://server1.<my-domain>.<my-tld>:8080 My two questions are: How can I change the url to access ISPConfig, I'd like to do something like "admin.<domain>.<tld>" instead of having "server1.<domain>.<tld>"? Whenever I visit either of those sites, chrome puts a red line through the https:// part of the url and warns me that the certificate doesn't match or something. I set up SSL during the installation, is this supposed to happen? Thank you.
I suppose your self signed certificate is not wildcard so if you want to change domain and use ssl you have to recreate certifcate? You can use 1 and 2 point from this howto: http://www.howtoforge.com/securing-your-ispconfig-3-installation-with-a-free-class1-ssl-certificate-from-startssl
