    Hi.

I am planning on changing the name of my server from genesis.firstdomain.net to exodus.differentdomain.com. The IP address would stay the same.

What impact, if any, will it have on ISPConfig?

Will i need to change any files and if so, which? Will I need to re-install?

Any advice on this would be great.

    Thanks in advance

You will have to change the hostname in /etc/hosts, your postfix main.cf file, in /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/lib/config.inc.php, in the file /root/ispconfig/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and /etc/hostname and in ISPConfig under management > server > settings.

    no.
