    Hello,

we have the problem that our clients cannot change the PHP version of their site.
The pull-down is available and all versions are listed. He can select another entry and press save, but nothing happens. Not even the red dot appears.
I've changed the log level to debug, but no entries in "ispconfig.log" nor in the browser console.
The admin and the reseller can change the PHP version.

Has someone an idea, what's going wrong?

    Regards
    Thomas

This is the client protection feature. When you created a website as admin (and not the client himself or you by using the login as client function), then this website is protected from being altered by the client and only you as admin are able to change the PHP version and not the client himself. If client protection gets applied to new sites or not can be configured under system > interface > main config.

    Hello Tim,
thank you for your fast reply.
I've changed the option in main config. But how can I change this behavior for existing sites?

It changes it for all existing sites when you disable the client protection.

    ok, it works now.
I tried it right after I turned off the option, but it still didn't work.
    Thanks!
