Hi, is it possible for a client to check DNS zone errors? I.e. when bind does not pass the zone checks and ispconfig renames the zone for zone.err ? I've had some angry customers with disappeared sites caused by bind errors due to customer error in zone edit (like when the customer points the MX to a CNAME or forgets to put the trailing dot in some records). It would be nice to have a log or a zone error status somewhere with a meaningful messages related to the error. Perhaps there is but I cannot see it?
There are free DNS tools like dnssy.com or intodns.com that you could use every time you make DNS changes to verify everything is ok.
