Last time when I migrated my ISPConfig 3.0548 system to a new machine, the procedure of restoring the client's db and web site simply does not work. Firstly, I moved all the files under /var/backup/ from the old system to the new system. Then, I logged into my own client account and then pressed the 2 Restore buttons (picture). It was just saying the process was going. Then, I checked the DB and web site from the OS level, they actually were not created. What is the correct procedure to restore a client's own DB and web site from his own client level privilege? My system is ISPConfig 3.0548, Ubuntu 14.04, php 5.5.9, MySQL 5.5.46, Apache 2.4.7.
Please search the forum for threads on how to migrate ispconfig, there ares everal threads that explain the procedure in detail. the way you di it cant works as the databases don't exist and you can not restore a sql dump into a non existing database.
