computer-->router-->modem setup help

    hey guys..
    I need some help from start to finish on this one.


    How do i set up a webserver using a DI-704UP router??
    i have Fedora 7 already installed..

    Any help would be great

    If you want your webserver to be accessible from outside your LAN, you must configure your router to forward port 80 to your server (also port 443 if you want to use https).

    i tried that falko but i still dont know what my computer address is or anything.
    (the networked server)
    im really stuck

    use (as root) ifconfig to see the server IP.
    You will need to run the above command on the server!

    When you have the server IP, use it to forward the needed ports.
    Use the link that I've given you in one of your first requests on how to do this in your modem.
