    Hi all,
I had a problem with the file /var/vmail/.mailfilter
It got corrupted so I had to delete it but the postfix server was still started for 2 hours without that file.
In the postfix log everything looks ok. It says that the email were delivered to the different users.
The problem was that during that time. No email are appering in the users folders. They just vanish...
From the mail.log the mails were delivered so they went somewhere...
I was able to restore the /var/vmail/.mailfilter from an old backup and everything came back. All users get their emails.

    Question :
Where can I found the email that were delivered without the /var/vmail/.mailfilter so I can put them in the users folder?

    Thanks
    Spazio

    thanks' Till!

Yes there is a file with all the emails inside.
Is there a way to resend that file to postfix so it's resend to all the user?
I know, but I can always dream...
What would be my best option to process the file?
