Dear all, I have setup ISPConfig 3 on Debian 6 and now I wish to setup the DNS part of it in order that my server will function as a small hosting provider. My domain is firenet.gr and hosted at Nettica. My servers ip address is 62.38.147.36 And I thought following several instructions on this great website I should create ns1.firenet.gr and ns2.firenet.gr On Nettica I have created the following records And on ISPCONFIG3 I have setup the zone like this With the following records BUT when I try to set those nameservers for a new domain (for ex falco.com) the registrant tells me that they cannot be found. Can some one please tell me what I have done wrong and how to correct it? Thank you!
If there's not the option on your registrar control panel to make glue records you may need to ask the registrar to do it for you. You may also need to ask your registrar to add the name servers to the global registry. +, don't forget the 72 hour propogation rule!
