I assume it was a caching issue then. The issue caused by the Ondrej changes is fixed in the installer since May 15 and I have not had a single failed installation afterwards, not even without my additional changes.
Ok, it worked now on OVH (with their own "modified" image). As "https://get.ispconfig.org" is behind CloudFlare, maybe they are the culprit there and they served a cache version (if you use the cache rules and even if the only issue yesterday was supposed to be limited to North America ("R2 and Durable Objects increased errors in Eastern North America"). The fact that the OVH server and my own PC failed on the same error (and that today it's fixed), can't be a local cache. Well, going to fully wipe once more the server, just to be on the safe side and reinstall ISPConfig from there, but seems ok (will post again otherwise).
Yes, it might have been a CloudFlare issue. We exclude downloads from caching, but maybe some nodes cached it anyway, and the node that I received the autoinstaller from had the correct caching exclusion in its rules while the one that delivered it to you had an old version.
