Hi, i have 2 dns servers - one via ispconfig, one external. On external i have no influence about serial SOA. How to force/change or sync SOA via ispconfig 3 with external dns ?
Configure one dns server as a slave of the other; the slave will transfer the dns zones from the primary and serve them. It doesn't matter which is primary and which is master, that decision will probably be dependent on what options you have on the external side (your ispconfig server could be configured as either).
I added two NS into DNS, but still the same error about SOA. Should i config sth more in ISPConfig ? ISPConfig looks config correctly: But when i compare both DNS: I have no "better" options on external DNS system to config. Some ideas ?
Ok, problem solved. I config both DNS as primary and this was conflict. Now one is Primary and one is Secondary and everything is OK !
