DNS Nameserver help

For me lyndsayb.co.uk and www.lyndsayb.co.uk are both going to the same website. (Lyndsay Photo Album)

 

I guess the DNS Data had not been adapted by the nameservers.

 

Ive started on it again this morning, logged onto uk2 and entered ns1.lynsayb.co.uk and ns1.lynsayb.co.uk .. and it accepted them, furthest ive got so far!!

logged onto snailplaced.co.uk and it is pointing to the main vps IP - 78.110.164.88

it should be pointing at 78.110.167.28 :s

Ive made some changes in the DNS and it now seems to be pointing to the right place, but im getting the message

at www.snailpaced.co.uk (if it times out your dns hasnt updated yet)

Sorted it - first i checked all the ips were correct in the dns and they wernt, after that i was getting the shared IP error until i created a user for that domain (web4_whatever in my case) then it changed over to the correct page.

now www.snailpaced.co.uk works, http://snailpaced.co.uk doesnt. Hoping this is just a dns update issue as the same happend with lyndsayb.co.uk

Hi, thanks for the reply. I had a strange few hours... both www.sp.co.uk and http://sp.co.uk started swapping and changing, one min they would point at 78.110.164.88 5mins later they would point at 78.110.167.28. I just assumed i was sometimes getting a cached version. It seems to have stopped now and i now have 2 websites working on the server!! Just waiting for the dns to update at another registar to move over a 3rd.
