dns server not working

    You must set allow transfer to in the primary zone, not in the secondary zone as the zone is transferred from primary to secondary.

    Ok, so you have the IP of the secondary server in the allow transfer field of the primary zone now? And the transfer to field of the secondary zone is empty? You can set the IP of the secondary server also in the 'also notify' field of the primary zone, I guess its not needed but it should not hurt. If it still does not work, then you must check the baind (named) log files on the secondary node to see why it can not transfer the zone.

    Where are the logs for bind.. i dont have any
    Code:
    /var/log/bind
    How do i enable them please

    You should find the BIND log messages in the server's syslog file.
