    Hi
I am using ISPConfig 3.1.15p2 multi server setup on Debian 9. I have dedicated mail servers mx1 and mx2. mx2 is set as a slave of mx1 and I have configured mail syncing with Dovecot. I can send and receive email.

When I send an email the mail is saved in the folder /var/vmail/xxxmail.uk/xxx/Maildir/.Sent/cur on both mx1 and mx2
When I receive an email, on mx1 it is saved in:
    /var/vmail/xxxmail.uk/xxx/Maildir/cur
but on mx2 it is saved in:
    /var/vmail/xxxmail.uk/xxx/Maildir/new

The mail is never moved from /new to /cur on mx2.
I thought new mail is initially stored in /new and then moved to /cur; why is it not moved?

    I noticed when I run htf-common-issues.php I get this:
I found the following imap server(s):
    Unknown process (init) (PID 1)

    Thank you for your help

In the new folder, email is placed that has been received but never been seen by a email client (webmail, thunderbird, etc).

How did you set up dsync?

Yes I am reading the email in thunderbird and I see the attributes change on both files on both servers, first there is an 'A' and then once I read the email it changes to have 'SA'

I followed the ISP Config manual section 3.3.1.8 to set up the sync.
