Hello, i registered here because, after looking my issue up for weeks, I was unable to find a solution. My Situation: A client has a web hosting server. Which I didn't set up by the way. Currently every user needs to configure their mail clients to use Login: lvXX_user Pass: Password But now the client wants to set up the users to use "user@domain". Which does work on Roundcube because its configured that way. but you cant use this login type for mail-clients (outlook, thunderbird, etc..) Of course all of these users are system users the passdb is pam and userdb is passwd My question is: Is it possible to configure dovecot in a way that it could use user@domain during login? Dont ask me for the dovecot.conf I can say that all conf files for dovecot are at their default states. Thanks for the help in advance.
