Hi all, I've searched around for this, here and more widely, but not finding any recent helpful replies. So, can someone tell me what's the best way to run a DDNS server to allow A records to be updated, with an ISPconfig setup? By "best" I mean, easy to set up, reliable (low/no maintenance), secure, and no clash with ISPconfig. My server is Ubuntu, and I have existing domains hosted with the server, at Linode. Thanks for any advice! PW
I'd suggest you simply use cname instead of an A record then. My ISPConfig servers at home rely on it too.
