Hello all, How can I backup all emails? I use imap so when I (hopefully not) have an HD crash all emails are away. I think the backup in ispconfig dont backup emails- correct? Is there a way to backup the mails ?? tia stefan
Them emails are stored in the user directories inside the web[X] directories in the web tree. The easiest solution will be to make a complete backup of your web tree (/home/www or /var/www). Dont forget to preserve the permissions in the backup, e.g. with the command "tar pcfz .....".
