Enom having major problems with e-mail forwarding

    Enom moved their e-mail handling to mail2world.com and now it's broken.

    Not only is e-mail forwarding not working, but messages are lost forever.

    Weird thing is it's even deleting letters from the forwarded-to e-mail address so mail is bounced with incorrect address.

    If you're using e-mail forwarding at Enom, better test your addresses--the mail mishandled by mail2world doesn't arrive later--it's lost.

    mail2world.com is a godaddy domain--weird that Enom is using it, or has Enom been bought by godaddy?

    Enom mail forwarding down for almost 48 hours

    No response from support on when it will be fixed.

    mail2world.com is a godaddy domain--think they're trying to sabotage enom? :p

    I've checked several more domains and e-mail forwarding is not working on any of them.

    Enom says they're working on the problem--not really acceptable as so far, 2 days of e-mail has been lost.

    They tried to say it was my server, not theirs. I had to prove it was them with a test mail using gmail and showing that the ip's in the missent mail were all theirs.

    It's tricky because their system adds the original and destination e-mail address as

    ResentFrom: [email protected]
    ResentFrom: [email protected]

    (not the real addresses) so it looks like the mail is coming from there instead of going there.

    Their system also appears to add a postmaster spoof of the destination domain:

    Thu, 13 Mar 2014 15:30:09 -0700 (PDT)
    Received-SPF: softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning [email protected] does not designate as permitted sender) client-ip=;
    Authentication-Results: mx.google.com;
    spf=softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning [email protected] does not designate as permitted sender) [email protected];
    dmarc=fail (p=NONE dis=NONE) header.from=gmail.com
    Received: from mail pickup service by mail2world.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC;

    There was a spoof alert message on this e-mail from gmail.

    IP: is theirs: Domain: mwde06oc.mail2world.com

    Anyway, they finally acknowledged the problem was on their end, then it was fixed. They said they just had to reset my account--so why didn't they do that 3 days ago?

    still problems with Enom e-mail forwarding

    I was wrong about it being fixed.

    I've located 2 more domains for which the e-mail forwarding is not working.

    The weirdest thing is that one of my destination addresses is a gmail account. Somehow their system deleted a letter from the middle of the gmail address so it was being bounced because that gmail box did not exist. I created a gmail box using the incorrectly spelled name and it is receiving e-mail which should have gone to my correct gmail box. I've checked multiple times and no where in any of my forwards does my gmail address have the spelling error. I'm just glad the mailbox was free, otherwise someone else would be getting my e-mail.

    Oh well, now the ones that were working are no longer working.

    I give up--I have to move the e-mail for all my domains from Enom.

    Still not fixed and no response from Enom

    i am losing about 60% of the forwards. Not on all domains though. very inconsistent. I too used a gmail account to get failure responses.
