ERROR: The PHP binary coming with ISPConfig does not work properly on your system!

I'm on CentOS 4.5 & am using the Perfect setup tutorial.

I got everything working but when trying to install ISPConfig I get:

tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
./setup2: line 873: ispconfig_tmp/php/bin/php: No such file or directory
ERROR: The PHP binary coming with ISPConfig does not work properly on your system! The installation routine stops here!

I updated zlib like it said in one of the threads - I also installed 'mysqlclient10-devel' and 'mysql-bench' but still not working.
