    Hello,

Since a few months ago, there is the posibility of registering domains in Spain with "native" charaters.

    This "native" latin characters are: á é í ó ú ñ

Is there a way of using this charaters in the domain name with ispconfig?

I have 5 servers with ispconfig configured and my clients are starting to buy domains with this characters.

    Thank's in advance...Larry.

I use these domains for several years now with german umlauts in ISPConfig, you will have to use just the punicode representation of the domain when you enter the domain name in ISPConfig. This works fine for websites, email and DNS.

I put the following domain and it throws an error:

    clinicasanromán.es

    The following error occurred:

    Invalid domain name: "www.clinicasanromán.es"

    Next >>

    What am I doing wrong?

An example would be very apreciated.

    Thanks again in advance.

You used the wrong encoding. Phe punicode representation of your domain is:

    xn--clinicasanromn-7gb.es

There are several websites were you can lookup the punicode encoding. for example: http://www.midano.com/convertIDN.asp
