how would i get the fedora 5 kernel to support my dual procs? i had it set up and working under ubuntu and debian, using your howto, and it worked great. i like to test different distros and this is the only problem i am having here, i followed the fedora 5 perfect setup but im not sure how to configure the kernel to support SMP (or whatever its called)....
You can either compile a new kernel with SMP support, or you run Code: yum search kernel and see if there are pre-compiled SMP kernels available for FC5.
