    I suggest you use server1.mydomain.com (make sure that it exists in DNS). If you just use mydomain.com and also configure a web site or email accounts for that domain in ISPConfig, you might get problems.

    Thanks for the help. I'll read up on DNS now and see if i can't get this working.

    server1.domain.com is just a sub domain of domain.com correct?
