Hi, probably along the several updates since i first installed my ispconfig something got messed up a bit ... If i create a new mail account some of the folders in the Maildir belong to root ... they belong to vmail in older accounts, and if i change the owner it works fine. Where do i need to look if i want to fix that?
The most likely reason is that /var/vmail is a symlink. If you have moved the partition to another location, then you have to use a bind mount and not a symlink. see: http://www.howtoforge.com/use_mount...ctory_of_a_ispconfig_server_to_a_new_location
good (and correct) guess. didn't expect symlinking it would be a problem, i got a data partition where I got the web and mail folders and the mysql databases ...
