A little while back, I started a thread about how someone running 'chmod' on the /var/www directory ruined permissions [Link]. From there, it's been going downhill. A fix was posted in the above linked thread. I am currently trying to fix it, and in the process, I have realized that the root mysql password for the server is not known. I know how to reset the root password, but I am wondering how this will affect the ISPConfig installation? Or better yet: Is there any way to find out the root password using information stored in the ISPconfig files? Any help appreciated!
