Ok, when logging into the Web-FTP, the user has a folder called web with a file called index.html already there..

If you try to login using the same credentials, you get a whole list of files beggining with "." and a folder called "Desktop" ..

I see no folder called "web" nor anywhere I would upload the site say if i was using dreamweaver.

    Any ideas on this?

ISPConfig WebFTP is a normal FTP client that connects with FTP comands. There is no difference to your GUI client excep that WebFTP connects always on localhost.

It is technically impossible that you get to two different locations with two ftp clients if you use exactly the same login credentials.

If you get a folder named "Desktop" you have not logged in with an User created by ISPConfig. Please check username and password again that you use for login.
