FTP Uploading Error

    Hi
    When i try to upload a file using WEB-FTP uploading UI,It gives following error

    FTP: Failed to write Array/.htaccess

    What dose this mean?

    Also when i try to change file permission there is an error as
    chmod failed

    What is happning here?

    Do you bget this error with all sites?

    Please check your proftpd.conf if chmod commands are disabled there.

    Yes.When i try to upload a file,this comes(FTP command line is working well)

    I am using VSFTPD
