How can I allow users to ftp into the root of their site rather than to their user account... domain.com ----web ----users web1_user web (they have access here) I want them to be able to access web under the domain rather than being jailed to their user account... this must be possible... or what is your suggestion to allow users ftp access to the root of the domain??
You must make one user of the site the site admin. This admin can go to the main web folder. Have a look here: http://www.ispconfig.org/downloads/manual_en/manual_kunde_en_src.htm#4_2_2 chapter 2.2.1, step 4: "Administrator Privileges".
