    Hi,
    I have a vps with lastest ispconfig installed.
    Starting from July 13rd at 2 a.m., getmail (fetchmail in dashboard) does not work anymore. I've tried to fix by myself for some days but without success. It seems to work but I did not get any e-mail on the destination account ([email protected])

    Here some logging:
    On /var/log/mail.log:

    [email protected] is not an email account obviously.

    I replaced my 3rd level domain name with ext.example.com.

    Code:
    C:\Users\XXXX>nslookup
    Server predefinito:  vps-192-71-245-208.prometeus.net
    Address:  192.71.245.208

    > set q=mx
    > ext.example.com
    Server:  vps-192-71-245-208.prometeus.net
    Address:  192.71.245.208

    Risposta da un server non autorevole:
    ext.example.com       MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = ext.example.com

    example.com     nameserver = ns2.customer.seflow.it
    example.com    nameserver = ns1.customer.seflow.it
    ext.example.com      internet address = 193.234.X.X
    > exit

    In /etc/getmail the relative conf file is present:

    Code:
    [options]
    # message_log = /var/log/getmail.log
    message_log_syslog = true
    delete = false
    read_all = false

    username = [email protected]
    password = XXXXXXXXX

    [destination]
    type = MDA_external
    path = /usr/sbin/sendmail
    arguments = ("-i", "-bm", "[email protected]")
    unixfrom = true
    If I send from gmail or hotmain a message to [email protected], I get it.

    Do you have some idea to fix this?

    I suspect that the problem is origined by the domain transfer to another provider. I recreate consistent DNS entries for MX as you can see on nslookup: 193.234.X.X is the IP address of the vps on which I installed ispconfig.

    L.

    Hi,
    last time that /etc/getmail was updated, it is the last time getmail works.
    Jul 13 02:35 [email protected]-INBOX

    In the meantime, I configured another account retriving mail form antoher mail to another local account (like ext.example2.net) and it works.

    Hi,
    I fixed by myself: the [email protected] account password was wrong.
    Changed it, it works.
