Evidently my ISP (in order to stop servers on their network) has all of my ip addresses listed in the pdl blacklist so SMTP mailing is out of the question. Is there a way around this so that I may still send emails from my server. I can receive email just not send. Would it be possible to configure the smtp to port 587? Thank you in advance for your help.
You can use another mail server (e.g. the one of your provider) for relaying. Have a look at post #18 here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=343
Email Broken Okay I followed the instructions on how to use my isp as a relay but to no avail. Email bounced with this message :_Relay_access_denied I tried two different things. First to set everything exactly as you said word for word then tried by changing user to my username and password to my password. Neither worked for me so it's back to square one. Any other suggestions on how to get this thing working. Thank you again
If you get "relay access denied" from your ISP mailserver, you shall ask your ISP if this is the right server to relay mails trough.
