Is your server hosted at home / in office or in a dataceter with a fixed IP?

Ok. Then take a look at the mail log file, which error do you get there when you send a email?

you should talk with the company where you rented the server and ask their support to fix the network or allow the connection in their firewall.

I have stopped iptables service on that server. Are there any additional configuration that i have to do ?

Does it work now? I guess this is probably a firewall in front of your server and not the iptables on the server itself.
