    Hi,

I've been using ISPConfig for personal sites for a couple of months now and last week I installed it on a server at work to deploy a new project I have been working on. It's working great, except that I can't figure out a way to create a FTP user whose access is limited to a specific subdirectory in the webroot.
I've tried to create a new user by using ISPConfig and then editing the row in dbispconfig.ftp_user, but this doesn't seem to work, and the setting resets whenever I create or delete another user anyway. I've also had no success in using purt-ftpd virtual users, as I couldn't even connect to the server when I tried this.

Is there a known, easy to manage way to achieve this? Perhaps by using a symlink?

    Thank you very much
    Regards

That's really easy indeed as you can set the folder on the advanced tab of the FTP user.
