How to make Wordpress Pretty Permanlinks to work with Nginx?

    Hello,
    I have a wordpress site installed under ISPConfig 3.2.9.1 and a subdirectory under webroot/wordpress/
    It is working happily.

    However, whenever I enable Permalink from within Wordpess, the wordpress site frontend will break even though the wp admin portal is still working.

    My OS is Ubuntu 20.04, Nginx, ISPConfig 3.2.9.1; Wordpress v6.2.

    Thanks for your opinions.
