Can you explain how HTTPS and HTTP ISPConfig work I have a website (Moodle) server for Ubuntu 20.4 & ISPC 3.2 How to set ISPC to access site data via HTTPS? Thanks
Enable the SSL and Let's Encrypt Checkbox in the website settings and press save. And/or read the ISPConfig manual for detailed instructions.
For this site I have generated SSL via the SSL tab in ISPConfig. SSL is marked on the first page. When I check Lets Encrypt SSL it pops up, but after a minute check box is cleared again.
You can not create an SSL cert on the SSL tab when you want to use Let's encrypt. Either use SSL tab when you want a self-signed cert or like to buy a SSL cert, or use the Let#s Encrypt checkbox. if you want to use Let's encrypt now, e,pty all fields on SSL tab, select 'delete certificate' in the action field and press save.
