How to update mySQL and PHP5 on CentOS 4.5 (Final)

    how do I update mySQL and PHP to version 5?

    If yum doesn't provide packages for MySQL 5 and PHP5, you must compile them manually (or find a third-party CentOS repository that has those packages).
