howto setup one domain with external dns?

Hi, any advise on setting up a domain that uses an external dns server?

What advice are you looking for exactly?
You need to control DNS records on the external control panel.
Everything else could be done in ISPConfig as long as the DNS records point to your ISPConfig server?
Or you could point the ns records to your ISPConfig server so that your DNS server is used.
