I am using Mint 18 cinnamon. I installed wine and winetricks, followed the instructions...except it did not specify if i should copy irfanview setup file to the irfanview folder ...or....run the setup first , then copy the installed program to the folder. anyway, i copied the setup folder, re-ran winetricks per instructions and got......nothing. i click on the irfanview setup file and it wants me to EXTRACT the file...lol. geez. no button to INSTALL iview. can someone help? I read somewhere else to "chmod 777" the folder...did that too...still nothing.
