You can use any IP address or domain name that pints to your server as mail in and out server in thunderbird or outlook. If you like to use smtp.domain.com and pop.domain.com, then just take care that these subdomains exist in dns and are pointing to the Ip address of your server.
worked only with the domain, as expected, and obvious ... I will try to add the pop. and SMTP. only to be 'style' ... to add to their zones, which type should I use? cname? a? and thank you again.
