    Same exact thing was happening with 3.2.8p2 on Ubuntu 20.04.

    Both versions exactly the same error:
    CONFIGURATION ERROR
    config.inc.php was not found.
    Please read the INSTALL instructions!

    Redirect from /webmail to /squirrelmail

    Try to search for the error in the forum, it has been solved several times in the forum already. It's about file permissions if remember correctly.

    That worked thank you but it still redirects to /squirrelmail from /webmail. I have /webmail set in the main server config.

    That's intended and the way it is set up to be compatible with squirrelmail and roundcube and not an error. If you don't like it, then you will have to build up your own custom apps vhost config.

    I just went into the apps vhosts config file and changed all squirrelmail to roundcube, worked!

    Thanks a lot for all your help everyone who replied, I hope this thread helps others out.
    I'm successfully running the 3.2.9 beta1 version on ubuntu 22.04. It's working great so far.
