I think I wore out my welcome over at gentoo.org. lol they quit answering me...I hope I dont do that here. but any way I am in /etc/rc.conf and I am setting unicode to yes. so i can mess around with it. this is my test system so I can test gentoo before i make the real instal to my main pc. now it says if you set unicode to yes please make sure to set a UNICODE aware CONSOLEFONT and keymap. do yall know what a UNICODE aware CONSOLFONT is?
