Installing OpenVZ + Management Of VMs in Debian 8?

    You can use the 2.6.32 wheezy kernel on a jessie system, just make sure you disable systemd (in the hardware node, it works fine inside containers). https://download.openvz.org/debian/ The ispconfig parts should be the same, as ispconfig simply issues `vzctl` commands.

    FWIW, OpenVZ 7 just came out with a new RHEL7 based kernel; I expect that kernel will be one available for debian some day, but in checking right now I don't see it.

    Unable to open /proc/vz/veinfo: No such file or directory
    Unable to open /proc/user_beancounters: No such file or directory

    This means your server is not running an openvz kernel.
